Rapid Detox Achieved With Cleansing
Worldwide, healthcare practitioners tout the benefits of routine body cleansing to purge toxins from our bodies. Our overall well being depends greatly on the health of our colon. You can control how much cleansing your body accomplishes by altering your diet. Eliminating processed junk foods and replacing them with more nutritious foods such as organic fruits and vegetables and whole grains can provide a natural cleanse. If your diet is particularly poor, it is important to consult with a health care practitioner or nutritionist prior to making drastic changes to your regime.
In order to accomplish a rapid detox, a 3-day fast can be performed. You will rest your body from the extremely strenuous task of digestion by drinking only pure water during this period. Allow your body to purge toxins and renew by creating the proper environment. Specifically, try to rest your mind and body while you are resting your digestive system.
When you have completed 3 days of water fasting, it is time to transition into phase two of the detox program. This phase requires a 7-day fruit fast. This phase consists of consuming only fruits for one week's time. Eat monotropically. This means to eat only one type of fruit each meal. For instance, consume only melons at breakfast. You can consume different types of melons and eat until you are satisfied.
Switch to citrus fruits at lunch. Eat a variety of citrus fruits such as oranges and grapefruits. Again mixing various citrus fruits is alright. But only consume these types of fruits.
Before eating dinner, consume a freshly pressed carrot juice. For dinner, consume pears or apples until you are satisfied.
This program is intense and aggressive. As you work through it, you may experience some symptoms of detoxification. These are normal, but should be noted. You may suffer from headache, nausea, and lightheadedness. If you do experience some or all of these symptoms, keep in mind that they are occurring as a result of toxins flushing from your body. They are actually a good sign that the program is working effectively.
After the 7-day fruit fast has come to a close, transition to an acid-bearing fruit diet for one month.
For example, apples, oranges, or plums for breakfast. This phase does not require monotropic eating. It is fine to make fruit salad and mix up the fruits that you eat.
Lunch can consist of fruits such as mango, bananas, grapes and pears. Include at least a half of a head of lettuce with lunch. You can also add celery sticks and dried fruit such as figs, raisins and apricots.
For dinner, eat a big salad consisting of lettuce and as many other raw vegetables as you like. To dress the salad, use an olive-oil based option that is free of sugars and additives. You can make a quick dressing by smashing a clove of garlic and adding the juice of half a lemon, sea salt, olive oil, apple cider vinegar and pepper. Combine all ingredients to taste and mix. Pour over your salad.
You can also sprinkle unsalted nuts like sunflower seeds, almonds or cashews over your salad to add protein. At the end of this program, you will feel lighter, renewed and energetic.
When you resume a regular diet, be sure to keep out the dangerous processed foods you have now done away with during your rapid detox. Consume foods that are rich in nutrients such as organic vegetables, fruits, whole grains and some heart healthy fish such as salmon or tuna.
