Take your list and rearrange it into a plan. Some things can be started today. Other tasks may be ongoing and may take weeks or months. Make a plan. You can change it at any time.

6. Take action.

Do something on your plan right now. Maybe it's go for a walk. Maybe it's a resolve to eat nothing after 6:00 P.M. Do something and do it now. It only takes about two weeks to form a new habit. Start a new weight loss habit today.

7. Resolve to do something every day to move toward your goal.

Refer to your written plan every day. Move every day a little closer to your weight loss goal.
