2. Decrease Simple Carb Intake - Simple carbs are foods high in sugar. When you eat too many of these bad carbs, you are causing a ton of problems to develop (weight gain, prohibiting muscle development, fat gain, and issues with your overall health). Just by lowering your intake of simple carbs alone can make a HUGE difference!
3. Interval Cardio - Instead of low-intensity steady state cardio, I recommend that you do high intensity interval cardio instead. This type of cardio increases both your metabolism and resting metabolic rate. You will also help decrease stress as well due to the abundant release of positive endorphins!
4. Resistance Training On Large Muscle Groups - It's important that you build lean muscle tissue if you want to get in the best shape possible. Having more muscle will burn off a ton of calories... automatically! That being said, the best type of resistance training that I recommend is to exercise your large muscle groups (legs, back, chest, etc.) using compound movements (incorporating multiple body-parts into one repetition).
5. Detox - Cleansing your body of free radicals will drop pounds of waste from your body in a flash. The best ways to do this is to increase your fiber (good carbs) intake, eat lots of antioxidants, and #6...
6. Drink LOTS Of Water - The more water you drink, the more you will cleanse your body, effectively build muscle, lose water weight, burn fat, increase your metabolism, and so much more! I recommend no less than 1 liter a day for best results.
7. Increase Your Bodies Fat Burning Engine - The Grand-Daddy of them all! If you naturally skyrocket your bodies fat burning engine (your metabolism), you will certainly drop pounds faster than ever before.
